Apex Performance (“we”, “our”, “the app”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information the app collects, how it’s stored, and the choices you have.
Information We Collect
When you create an Apex Performance account we collect the email address and password you provide and the profile information you choose to enter — name, age, sex, golf frequency, handicap, swing speed, training goals, fitness level, training-day preference, listed injuries, and an optional profile photo. While you use the app we record your daily check-in answers (energy, stiffness, soreness, sleep, hydration), the workouts you complete, the weights you log per exercise, and which program you are enrolled in. If a friend referred you, we store the referral code that brought you in.
How Your Data Is Stored
Account credentials and the data above are stored in our secure backend (Supabase, hosted on AWS in the United States) so that you can sign in on a new device and resume where you left off. A copy is also cached on your device for offline use. Row-level security policies ensure each user can only read and write their own rows; we cannot read your password.
How We Use Your Data
We use the information you provide to operate the app — generate your daily workout, calculate your Apex Score, show your progress and history, send you the reminder notifications you opt into, and route the email confirmations and password reset messages required for account access. We do not sell your data, share it with advertisers, or use it for marketing other products.
Video Content (Vimeo)
Exercise demonstration videos are streamed from Vimeo. When you load a video, Vimeo may collect standard web telemetry (IP address, device type, viewing time). We pass the "Do Not Track" parameter to limit this. See Vimeo's privacy policy at vimeo.com/privacy.
Analytics & Tracking
Apex Performance does not include any third-party advertising SDKs, behavioral-tracking SDKs, or marketing analytics frameworks. We do not use cross-app or cross-site tracking.
Push & Local Notifications
If you grant notification permission, the app schedules a daily local check-in reminder. The reminder is generated on your device — no notification content is sent through our servers.
Account & Data Deletion
You can permanently delete your account from the Profile tab → "Delete Account". This removes your auth record and cascades to all of your stored data (profile, intakes, programs, check-ins, workouts, weight history, referrals). Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone. You may also request deletion by emailing support@apexperformance.com.
Children's Privacy
Apex Performance is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.
International Users
By using the app you consent to the transfer and storage of your information in the United States, which may have different data-protection laws than your country.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected on this page and the in-app privacy screen with an updated "Last updated" date.
